Forget tomato sauce — Saucrs! Red Chimichurri makes an incredible flatbread pizza base. It's herby, garlicky, and just spicy enough to balance the creamy mozzarella and salty prosciutto. This one comes together in 15 minutes and will absolutely become a regular in your rotation.
Serves: 2–4 | Prep Time: 5 min | Cook Time: 10 min
Ingredients
- 2 flatbreads or naan
- 4 tbsp Saucrs! Red Chimichurri
- 1 cup shredded low-moisture mozzarella
- 4 slices prosciutto
- 1 cup fresh arugula
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Shaved parmesan, for finishing
- Red pepper flakes, optional
Instructions
- Preheat — Heat oven to 425°F. Place flatbreads on a baking sheet.
- Sauce — Spread 2 tbsp Saucrs! Red Chimichurri evenly over each flatbread, leaving a small border.
- Top — Scatter mozzarella over the chimichurri. Tear prosciutto into pieces and lay over the cheese.
- Bake — Bake for 8–10 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are golden and crisp.
- Finish — Toss arugula with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Pile on top of the hot flatbreads, shave over parmesan, and add red pepper flakes if desired. Slice and serve immediately.
